The Metropolitan Municipality is implementing the "Strengthening Local Climate Change Response Capacity in the Black Sea Region Project (LAP BLACK)" in collaboration with ITU, Kabuleti Municipality, Kavala Municipality, and the Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers, within the scope of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin program.

The LAP BLACK Project's kick-off meeting was successfully held in Istanbul, Turkey, from October 13-15, 2024. All project partners participated in the meeting, where significant steps were taken to develop strategies for combating climate change in the Black Sea Basin.
