The LAP BLACK project, implemented in collaboration with the Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) as Lead Partner, the Municipalities of Sakarya (Turkey) and the Municipality of Kobuleti (Georgia), and the Ukrainian Association of Business Support Centers (UABSC), and the Municipality of Kavala (Greece).
At the 2nd Local Action Group Meeting, the following were presented and discussed:
• Presentation by TEE-AM of the results of the Local Action Group members' meeting
• Analysis of the results of the climate risk prioritization questionnaires
• Workshop – Prioritization of Thematic Indicator Groups based on the correlation between Natural Risk and Sector of Activity.
During the 2nd meeting, the local action group presented the conclusions from its internal meetings. This was followed by an analysis of the results of the climate risk ranking questionnaires, which provided useful information for recording the most important environmental challenges in the region. This was followed by an interactive workshop, where participants worked in groups to prioritize areas representing different aspects of local life and public policy that will be affected by the risks of climate change (floods, droughts, heatwaves) in the municipality of Kavala. The meeting concluded with a summary of the key points and the planning of actions to be taken until the next meeting.
