LAP BLACK

The LAP-BLACK project aims to enhance the intervention capacities of local authorities in the Black Sea Region to mitigate the effects of climate change. The project's overall objective is to create a sustainable and climate-resilient region while highlighting the importance of local intervention and collaboration. The specific objectives include building adaptation teams, developing Local Adaptation Plans, establishing pilot applications, monitoring and updating Local Adaptation Plans and engaging stakeholders to raise awareness and disseminate project results. The communication objectives are to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, disseminate results and promote best practices.

Interreg NEXT

The Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Program is an European Union (EU) funding program aimed at promoting cross-border cooperation and supporting sustainable development in the Black Sea region. This program is part of the EU’s Interreg funding tool and is valid for the 2021-2027 period. The name "Interreg NEXT" refers to an approach that adds a new cooperation model on top of previous Interreg programs, aiming to strengthen regional cooperation.
